Abundance In Seeking Forgiveness
September 30, 2008
And before I know it, it’s Hari Raya again! "Hari Raya Aidilfitri" literally the "Day of Celebration” in the Malay language. Muslim friends throughout the world celebrate this festive season.
Central to the celebration is the "Ma’af zahir dan batin" which roughly translates to "seeking forgiveness physically and spiritually". Yes, Hari Raya is a time to reconcile and renew relationships with others.
Won’t it be great if we too take part in the spirit of the festive season and reach out and ask for forgiveness from those we have wronged (in words, thoughts or deeds) and live in the liberating abundance and freedom of cleanness and newness? Let the energy flow and see what great things will happen!
Selamat Hari Raya!
