I watched a video today that I just want to share with you. So much wisdom packed into into 3 minutes – with humor too.
In a simple video, Richard St John shared 7 years of interview work with us on the secrets to becoming success. Simple yet very powerful. Not that we have not heard these words before yet I find his video left an impact in me.
So are you ready to turn off your email alert and mobile phone for just 5 minutes and soak in this video? I think you too will find it very powerful!

Getting Lost Can Be A Good Thing
March 4, 2011
I was on my way to an unfamiliar part of town for a meet-up today and as usual I looked up the map and got my directions before I stepped out.
Well, you guessed it, I took a turn too early and had to double back via a U-turn. Aren’t I thankful for U-turns!
Two U-turns later and I am back on track. I get my second attempt and this time I managed to arrive at my destination.
Lessons learned?
1 – Thank God we can turn every mistakes into lessons learned!
2 – Having a goal and some general directions does not guarantee success. You can have a goal and be given directions and with the best of intention, you may still make mistakes. And that is quite okay. In fact it can be a good thing.
If you are lost – take heart. At least you are aware that you have gone off course. You can get your bearings again, recalibrate and get back on track. You’ll still get to your destination. You just learn a few more things along the way.
3 – On the other hand, you will never get lost if you stay put and not take action. You will just remain where you are. No motion, no action, no journey, no destination. Safe and uneventful.
4 – And just one more thing; if you do no have a goal or destination in mind then any route you take will be just fine. You will get to no where land anyway and no matter what route you choose you will not be “lost”.
With this perspective, getting lost is not such a bad thing, is it?

Setting Up Winning Routines For Inevitable Success
February 11, 2011
This follows on from a post I did a couple of years ago where I ask if we are Creatures of Habit or Conscious Beings?
I talked about setting up routines that builds us up physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally and keep repeating these routines until they are ingrained in us at the cellular level and we begin to perform them automatically thus setting us up for automatic success.
Here’s an audio I did that shares how I design my routine based on what I want to achieve.
Let me know your feedback, it will also help me make adjustments to my current way of designing routines!
