About Me
Work Experience:
Louisa Chan brings with her years of corporate and people building experience and an extensive multidisciplinary cross-cultural background in Education and Training, IT Consulting, HR Outsourcing, Coaching and Masterminding.
She has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Singapore and China as well as seconded to Bangkok and Sydney while working with Multi-National Corporations in Singapore and Malaysia.
Beside her corporate experience, Louisa taught and lectured at educational institutions while in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur. She enjoys working with children and teenagers. Louisa was also heavily involved with years of counseling as well as advisory work while in Hong Kong.
Louisa has worked from the back room as Operations Manager to the client facing role of Supervising Consultant and Project Manager. As one overseeing Operations, she is keenly aware of the challenges that hinder efficiency in productivity and operations. Her years of Consultancy work with a Multi-National Corporation in Singapore as well as her Project Management role with a US Human Resource Consulting Firm has shaped Louisa with a clear, analytical mind and an eye for details and implementation.
Louisa's Activities:
Louisa actively promotes Coaching Workshops for corporate managers and one-on-one executive coaching sessions. She also offers group coaching and groups masterminding using telephone technologies. She contributes articles to ezine directories regularly as an expert Platinum Level author and has authored ebooks and reports.
Seeing how many people are stressed-out and anxious, Louisa has designed 2 home-study courses helping professionals deal with stress, information overload and the sense of overwhelm using audio, video and text guides. These products can be instantly downloaded to your computer. As a professional dedicated to continuous improvement she regularly attends seminars and workshops conducted by Bob Proctor, Blair Singer, T Harv Eker, Tony Robins and other personal development gurus such as Eben Pagan.
Louisa's Continuous Education:
Louisa holds a Bachelor of Commerce Majoring in MIS from McGill University (Canada) and a Master of Education majoring in Educational Management from Sheffield University (UK). Louisa is a certified Project Manager Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI) in US and a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) with the International Coach Academy (ICA) from Australia.
Louisa is also certified as a Professional Mastermind Leader. She studied with world renowned Speaker and Trainer, T Harv Eker on a year-long program and have graduated from in his intensive Train-the-Trainer Program. Using her knowledge in education and curriculum design Louisa makes use of accelerated learning concepts in the workshops, seminars and training programs she designs.
Louisa, the Person:
On a personal front, Louisa believes everyone has untapped potential and can do with some support as we seek to understand our inner selves and unleash the potential within. Louisa enrolled for the Certified Professional Coach Program with the Academy to prepare herself professionally so she can lend support and a listening ear to those who seek changes to move towards a more abundant life.
Louisa has lived in different countries and understands the challenges of having to adapt to new communities and cultures and starting a network of friends and support system from scratch. She has had a few heart breaking experiences that have both strengthened her to be the person that she is today as well as grant her the capacity to empathize and help empower you to overcome your challenges. Louisa loves music, nature, traveling (backpacking), yoga asanas, reading, writing and speaking enegagments.
Louisa is Cantonese by descent and grew up studying Pu Tong Hua in a Chinese School. She did a fair bit of simultaneous and stage interpretation between English and Mandarin and will be able to connect with you in the language you are most comfortable with. She also adheres to the code of ethics upheld by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
