If you sit at the desk and type all day long, and if you do not maintain a good strong posture, you will know what shoulder and neck pain is!
If you can find time for a good massage, go for it. Otherwise I suggest some good, free natural stretches which you can easily do, where ever you are.
Do it to the degree you are comfortable with, no need to push. Just a full, deep stretch will do a lot of good.
